Yep it has been ages again, there has been lots going on in my little life and I really have not had a lot of spare time or energy to put into scrapping, blooging or much else really, there is a number of issure taking up my head space and we have some challenges ahead but it's all good!!!. I guess it may be a little while before I get a chance to blog again, I thought about closing it but hey I am going to leave it here and see how things pan out, if and when I get a jolt of creativity and start creating again I will post.
Jazzy turned 8 and her party was great, she had a ball. She ordered a two tier cake and I was stoked with how it turned out!
Thanks Annette for tagging me many moons ago, one day I will complete it.
hugs to all and take care of you!

More!!!!!
Hello!!! thanks for leaving comments and for your emails etc. I am enjoying being back blogging again. some of the pics are a bit small but you can click on them to enlarge them.

Above is a double birthday layout using Bo Bunny Birthday papers. This was a pretty quick and easy layout to do and the cardstock and papers matched the photos perfectly. I love these photos take 2 years ago can you believe it!!! Ethan was so excited about his cake!

I am back with a few more projects to share. Above is a card I made for my niece for her birthday, I am kind of enjoying making cards lately. how cute is that little birdie. I am having lots of fun playing with my stamps to create some cool effects!!!

Above is part of a layout using a cool scrapware chipboard flourish. I used the Kaisercraft argentella long strip rubon on the raw chipboard flourish. It was fun to do and I love the result. Photos of the whole layout are coming at a later date when I can get a good photo of it.

Jazzy was invited to one of her schoolfriends birthday party last weekend. It was a "Tea Party" and I was thinking of what I could get for Jasmine to give her and when I was working at scrapbook city the day before the party I spotted the cupcake album and thought that I could make her an album to put photos of the party into. I bought the gorgeous doodlebug glittered card stock and striped paper and then used other papers that I had in my stash. Jasmine and I made the album together, we had a girls scrapping night together . It was fun, I was happy with the finished products and apparently the birthday girl loved it to bits. totally worth it.

this was a layout for Scrapbook city using the Sharon Ann Baby safari collection. The photo is one of my favourite baby pics of Ethan.

Last weekend comprised of the scrapbooking and papercrafts convention at the convention centre. I had a great weekend and enjoyed a night out on Sunday night with the girls from scrapbook city. We lots of fun (and I had lots of wine LOL!!) I met a few other scrappers and shop owners and we had fun. We met Melissa and Allison from Kaisercraft and they are both such lovely people and for those that went to the show...... how nice are the new kaisercraft ranges tht are coming out. I think it is their best ranges yet. I got to catch up with some old friends and new ones and we worked hard on Sunday and Monday.
Anyway -I do have some more projects to photograph so will be back in the next few days to upload them
hugs to all,
talk soon

wowsers!!!!!!!
Has it really been thaa
t long since I posted- Wow 5 months already. So much has happened and I have hardly had any time or inclination to update. I have finally been inspired to update. First of ll I want to takl about my "word" of the year- Ali Edwards (I think) on her blog strated a word of the year thing and on a message board of one Of my favourite online forums, I posted that my word for the year is "COMPLETION" there is so many things I desperately wanted to finish off things that were unfinished, things I procrastinate about and things for one reason or another I have neglected. I am really proud of my achievement of this so far. I have lots of projects to share and a few photos as well. I am also going to record a quick rundown of 2009 so far included in this will be the "things" I have completed.
January- Was delightful, Having Brad at home for a whole month was bliss. My Gorgeous friend Nikki got engaged on New Years Eve in South Africa!! Iwas thrilled to bits and pieces. Nik and Baz are the most amazing couple and am so excited about their wedding next year, Bring it on!!! Jazzy and Ethan are both big School kids this year. Jazzy is grade 3 and my beautiful littleman Started Prep!!! Isn't he cute!! He is doing really well. He has an awesome teacher and we are so pleased with his development. This month marked the completion of my days as a mummy to "little Kids!" sob sob I am now a mum to 2 big school kids, something that I was pretty sad about though.
February- Brad headed to America again for a month long trip that turned into 6 weeks grrrrrrrr. But he had a good time and brought home loads of pressie and surprises for us I was lucky enough to get a making memories slice machine and I love it!!. I finally sorted out a personal well being issue and have been so much better for it. I have had clarity and a sense of calm since taking care of this. life is good. The biggest thing for me so far this year is finishing my Advanced Diploma in Children's services- this is something that I have been trying to complete since 2005 and boy oh boy was I glad to receive that piece of paper. This by far is my best proudest achievement for 2009.
March- Brad was away for most of march :( I miss him so terribly when he is away but thems the breaks. He had to spend his Birthday poor baby!!! Mum and I went away on a mummy daughter scrappin weekend to the Stick and giggle retreat organised by the grogeous Jody held at Woodlands of Marburg. OMG this place is incredible! Mum and I had the most wonderful decadent weekend. Thanks Jody we are looking forward to the next one. We had a 1920's- 1930's fancy dress night on the saturday night- Mum and I went as Bonnie and Clydeand we won the best dressed prize! (photo below.) My camera spat the dummy so I didn't get any photos of the whole weekend which was such a shame. this photo was supplied by Shazz P. thanks Darls!!!
April- Easter was great, sadly though becuase of the rain we didn't get to do our family bbq at Mt nebo :( but had it at our place instead which was fun playing guitar hero world tour and having a few drinks and easter eggs too. Brad and I celebrated out 10th wedding anniversary on the 17th of April, It is such a spin out to think it has been 10years already. I surprised him with a night at Dockside Hotel ( where we got married) and we did the sunset Story Bridge Climb, it was spectacular!!!( I thought I had a photo on this computer but i don't) oh well, next time!! I also am now working nearly full time at work. The opportunity arose so I took it. Adjusting to 5 days has been interesting but I enjoy my job so it is great for me to have good hours and a lovely place to be employed.
May- We had the most wonderful weekend Mother's day weekend as we celebrated My beautiful very long time friend Dee and Dean's Wedding at the Gold coast. It was such a lovely wedding, we had a ball. I my have had a few more than one or 2 wines and a bit od a headache the next day! but it was awesome. I was spoilt for mothers day. I will have to take photos of my pressies the kids made for me. I am so lucky. I also got an Ipod Nano- a hot pink one which is soooooooo cool. I love it. Jazzy made her 1st Communion and Confirmation. She looked so pretty and she did very well. I will pop a photo on next time I post on my blog.
Ok onto some of my creations for the last 5 or so months-

Here is a card I did for the scraplounge cybercrop. It couldn't be the usual card shape, had to have bling and some handcut flowers.

The layout to the left "I love this Girl So Much is a layout I did for Scrapbook City using MME Laundry Line sundress range- This is the most beautiful collection. The layout is about something that Jazzy did and how amazing she is. I wanted to remember this forever. I love this layout- the photo doesn't really do it justice though.
The Layout below is "Blessed with Cousins" another Scrabook city layout- using MME Just dreamy 2 collection
