What Your Home Says About You
You come across as very intellectual. People take your wisdom seriously.Your hygiene is passable, but you may be hiding some dirty secrets. You are a very domestic person. You enjoy decorating, cooking, and making things homey. You are a very nurturing person. You find meaning in taking care of others. You feel settled in your life. You have enough time to focus on little details. You are a very self sufficient person. You can get along well without much help.Your friends see you as courageous, dynamic, and bright. http://www.blogthings.com/whatdoesyourhomesayaboutyouquiz/

has it really been that long!!

onto other news-
OK on to some creations-
On the 12th of October we partipated in the Juvenile diabetes walk for a cure. that gorgeous boy above is my nephew Matthew who lives with Type one (insulin dependant) Diabetes. the walk was great and Matthews family and friends alone raised over $1500 for the JDRF to go torwards research to find a cure for diabetes and wouldn't that be great. It really was a fun day We were Team moo, we all had shirts that uncle Steve and aunty trish made and Steve even dressed up as a cow!! There were even a team of storm troopers walking . My little star wars fan was gobsmacked that there were storm troopers and one of them was kind enough to pose with the kids for a photo so Ethan could show his Daddy(who is the reason for Ethan being obsessed with Star wars. Unfortunately Brad missed out on the walk as he was in Malaysia.
Trish and I were talking yesterday and we have decided to take up a challenge to blog everyday for two weeks, if anyone else wants to join me leave a comment to let me know. I do have lots of news to catch up on and things to share as well so stay tuned!!!

oops meant to....
Oh my goodness go and get a cuppa.............
Ok I have finally got a minute or two (or an hour) to update on the last few weeks!! I have been so busy. This will probably be a jumble of bits and pieces as i am just writing as I think of it as because I want to record these memories while they are fresh.
You know when you are a scrapbooker, it is rare that you get "scrappy" gifts, but for my birthday my oldest and bestest friend Nikki gave me a mini album made by her mum Shelley and it is gorgeous. Shelley put photos of Nikki and I from when we were kids (yep we did Ballet together) right up til recently and many of the photos I don't have copies of so it was wonderful. I actually got a bit teary looking at it and I love it!! It highlighted how special scrapbooking is. Thank you so much Shelley, I will always treasure it. here is a photo of it -
She had her school musical and was very good in it and overall it was a fantastic production for a primary school musical. I want to share a page from one of Jasmine's school books. She has a book called a recall book and each Monday they write in it about something in their lives it is kind of like a diary and they also draw pictures. On friday parents were invited to the classroom to look at the kids work and have morning tea and I had to take a photo of this page of her book that she created in March after receiving an award on assembly for her guitar practice. It brought tears to my eyes and was a big reminder of the power of positive reinforcement in children and letting kids know how much the good things they do mean to you as they remember.
Here is a layout that I did a little while ago about Ethan and his grandpa. There is journaling behind the photo. I LOVE the photo of the two of them.
Anyway if you have got this far you deserve a medal. I am impressed. I will be back in the next few days to share some scrappyness!!
Thanks for reading and take care mwah

I love the photo of Jasmine. she loves to dress up and on this particular day was running around being a fairy. I grabbed the camera and snapped this shot of her hiding behind a plant in our garden!!! I wanted the layout to have a fun "fairy feel" I am really happy with it and Jasmine LOVES it so that is the main thing!! I will have some more photos to add tomorrow or thursday of some other things I am working on!!
gotta go, I am off to bed, I think I feel a cold coming on!!!
